Welcome to the Al-Qalam website

Al Qalam Shariah Scholar Panel seeks to provide British Imams and Muslims with authentic referenced expertise on how to properly apply shariah precepts to common place legal and financial concerns. Whilst the majority of our work focuses around Charity (Zakah) and Wills (Wassiya), we also provide guidance on Trusts, Pensions, Child Trust Funds, Divorce Settlements, Investments, Contracts and other such financial & legal matters.

For corporate bodies, we offer chargeable advisory and training services on a ‘not for profit’ basis.

We regularly update the edict (fatwa) section of this website. Should you wish to submit a question, we respectfully request the existing edict (fatwa) library be checked first as many popular questions will already have been dealt with.
